ENHANCING YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN POLITICS

  THE KIMPACT DEVELOPMENT                            INITIATIVE STORY.


           Founded by Bukola Idowu, a prestigious member of the National Assembly Joint Committee on Electoral Matters, Kimpact Development Initiative is a non-government, non partisan, youth led, non profit organization advancing in good governance, democratic Rights, public policy and engagements.


                  Since March 2014, K.D.I has worked painstakingly & relentlessly with like-minded local and international bodies to promote peaceful elections and active citizen engagement in democratic processes and reforms with administrative structures and partnership across all 36 states in Nigeria.


             With the mission to inspire citizen- led democratic development anchored principles of participation, data driven advocacy, strong democratic institutions and public policies; Kimpact Development Initiative created the first indigenous A.I election app in Nigeria.


             The "Naija Elections AI App" was launched by Kimpact Development Initiative on the 13th of July, 2024.

               The election AI tool symbolizes a significant leap forward in how citizens can understand the electoral framework from the constitution, Electoral Act 2022, and INEC Election guidelines amongst several others.
